I like you a lot...
I type a few words then tap tap tap the delete button. Thinking....then I type a few more words. Again taping the delete button. What can I say about you Daylan that really tells how amazing I think you are? I want you to know how much I appreciate all that you do for us. That I see how hard you work for us. Every day. Every night. You wake in the nights with Ysa and I to help with the feedings or rocking back to sleep. First thing in the morning you are off to work. Hours later at the tiniest click of the lock when you come home the kids race to see you. We love you. And we all look up to you. Dinner comes and goes. Clean up of dinner will sometimes happen soon or later but it happens. The kids are tucked into bed and you change into work cloths and start working on the house. You amaze me. This is our daily routine. Its busy. And tiring. You squeeze in a little LEGO time, and doll time. and we love you more with every little act of love. You are an amazing Dad. An amazing husband. I feel so lucky to call you mine. I know its not much in comparison to all you do but these pictures I did for you. I love the stage we are at right now. It's exhausting but truly great. We can look at these pictures of the kids and remember all the love that we have in our home. And I can't wait to see what the years will bring us.

Eden.
(I worked on these pictures with a dear friend and talented photographer Kate Kunz. Thanks Kate!!!)

You're so sweet, Eden. I keep thinking about what I want on my walls, and all I can think about is the love displayed all over yours with all your pictures of your family. It's obvious what you hold dear. It's great to see the appreciation for the beautiful family you've been given.

Now that is a focal point worth looking at! They are stunning! I love the size and simple lines. They are a perfect contrast to the warmth and curves of the couch.
P.S. I am jealous of your wall map!
You have a beautiful family Eden.
OMG... this is beautiful. Do you mind if I tried to recreate this in my house? I stare at the blank wall over my LR sofa (which is not nearly as lovely as yours but it has potential esp if what was hanging over it was special). I have low ceilings, approx 8ft. I'll let you know how it turns out.
I love these family pictures! I just had a baby 4 weeks ago and would love to incorporate this idea some day into my home! May I ask where you had them printed SO BIG (poster size?) They are lovely! Absolutely lovely! Thanks so much for your inspiration and help! My e-mail is: kristin.hallak@gmail.com
P.S. Very beautiful blog!
I'd love to know your source for the frames. Gorgeous stuff.
