Spring break

I woke up this morning and spent 20 minutes kissing and snuggling on Aubrie. Snuggled up in my sheets I held her tight as she laughed and begged to be let go. Once she is released she runs to the top of the stairs and calls/belows for her big brother. We all sat down to heaping bowls of cheerios. Could this morning really get any better? ...Then boredom begins to set in. What is the best remedy for boredom? Apparently its teasing. Deacon turns all his attention to his prime victim. Aubrie. Aubrie is prepared for this. Her defense is an incredible screech. Really when she is feeling threatened (even in the slightest) she will pull out her best defense, an ear shattering scream. Time is of the essence here. I need a distraction, and quick. Nothing better for my kids than a deep warm bath. Thankfully it worked. Here we are once again, happy and calm. Hmmmm. how many more days till school?

-a side note. this pink tub (a lovely feature that came with the house) is very very important to my little Aubrie. It was because of this tub that she feel in love with her "new house".

we have a baby blue version of your tub in our 1960's house, and a blue toilet and sink to match. I love the name Aubrie, that was my grandfathers name and we almost used it. Love the photo of Aubrie it's fantastic.

Oh, I can so relate to the boredom fighting, the torture, the ear piercing scream...
