Mittens and Hot Chocolate for Breakfast.

This morning Daylan was going to head over to Merin's place with Thomas and cut some base boards. I was going to let the kids tear the house apart while I got some work done. We made a nice hot breakfast and just as the last bite of french toast was disappearing, Deacon shouts for the whole world to hear..."its snowing!". Twenty minutes later we we were going for the first family snow walk of the year (maybe the last, snow looses its novelty around here pretty fast). But it was so fun. We built our FIRST snow man at the house. Very fun for us. Now that we have our wiggles out I am going to let the kids turn the house upside down and I will be getting to work...I hope;)

Between the pictures and the caption/title of your post winter seems like a real treat! Perfect greeting card moments. Isn't it fun that snow is so exciting at the beginning of the season? Good thing because it gets pretty old by the end!lol I know I am certainly looking forward with anticipation to a new snow shovel and days of shoveling - seriously, the old shovel is ground to a nub.
