Sleepless nights
Seven years ago I held you for the first time. I held you and fell in love with you. Your Dad and I counted your toes, and admired every little move you made. Simply watching you breath warmed my heart. Waking blurry eyed for midnight feedings, or to snuggle you back to sleep. Those were my sleepless nights. Now you are older. Seven years older. You run and climb, swim and read. You have happy moments along with sad. And I still find it all just as amazing as I did when you were a fresh baby in my arms. I still love to watch you sleep. Just breath. Deacon you humble me. I love you more than you could imagine. "even more than all the stars in the sky"!

Wow your family is sure growing! I remember when we first met when you were expecting Aubrey and Deacon was so tiny. How precious! Love you guys, wish Deacon a happy birthday from Miles and I!
