so very kind.

Thank you for all the very kind comments. The thoughtfulness of each one. For the love, and support from friends and strangers. I do feel so loved, yet undeserving of them. We are so privileged to have Ysa in our home. She is such a joy and a comfort. Yes, we have lost many hours of sleep:) And worried over her when she is sick. I worry of the day when she wants her Momma Merin not me. But this is what we do for our children. We love her so very deeply. I suppose I feel selfish in accepting these kind words. Merin and Mike were so loved by all their family. We will all support her and love to watch her grow. Please know that your words touched me. Made me feel stronger. I know the loss of Mike and Merin affected many. I loved Merin so deeply, and feel so blessed to raise her daughter.

Much love,
Eden.

You ARE deserving of every compliment, every word of encouragement that yu received in your last posting. You are an amazing mom to all three of your children (Daylan's no slouch either!). Ysa's little face loooked so peaceful, so comforted in those pictures. You are obviously doing a great job. The way you have handled your grief was a guiding force for me in the last bit of time, and showed me that life was possible since the calling home of my own sister. Bask in the comfort of others. You deserve it.

I guess there is no doubt now that you are an inspiration to many... those who know you well and even strangers! I am glad you are feeling loved, now we need to make a time work to get together so I can give you love in person!

P.S. I love the peace signs...total sister picture!

I've blogstalked for a while. I just have to say that if I passed away, I would want my children raised with my closest family member and to be loved just as you love Ysa, as your own. No dividing lines of, "Well, your mom died so now I guess we will take you in." I have seen it before. It is truly sad. I love seeing you be a Mom to miss Ysa. How blessed Merin is to have you to care for Ysa. May you continue to be blessed.

Such cute sisters - fresh off the plane, ready to conquer NYC. Who else of course to be mom to Ysa? You are the best!! Love you.

Oh Eden, we hope you continue to feel love and strength with every little message and every little act of kindness you receive. 100% deserving. I will say it until you believe it! ;) We are so happy that you are a part of our lives and can only hope Ysa and Emery(and all the cousins) will one day feel the same. xo.

I feel a little guilty that I have never really ever made comments on your posts until now... I always felt like I would be intruding or something.. But I read your posts often because I love how honest and beautiful they are about your kids, sister, family and love of art making. You are such an incredible person, and your words, testimony and most importantly----strength radiate through every word. I love reading them because my soul is always touched.
Thank-you for being so open and willing to share your life with so many...
