Its a process...

We have been busy working on our Laundry/mud room. Its been messy and a we have come across a few bumps but we are at the drywall stage (yay) as of this weekend and its so exciting! Daylan continues to insist on doing the work himself and I continue to be amazed at what he can do. I can't wait to share the finished rooms. It will be so nice to have more than one bathroom running again:) I am stuck on what we should do for the flooring. Any advice or ideas would be great!

Eden - I have been meaning to tell you that I think you should take a look at linoleum (as opposed to vinyl) flooring. It is a green option, very long wearing, totally appropriate to the mid-centurt thing you guys have going on, comes in a color you want and best of all, looks like it is between 2-3.00/sq ft.

Can't wait for the big reveal. It will be great - just like the rest of your house!

i am so excited to see it! to add to your moms comment, we have this flooring in our house that is great, kind of like linoleum, it is called Fiber Floor. Maybe worth looking into. Have fun!

what bumps babe? it's been smooth sailing hasn't it?! it was like a sandy gravel box in the basement for a bit there, but it kept the kids busy.

This looks like a pretty intense project! I can't wait to see the finished result!

PS Good for you for being patient! We're nearing the year mark and we have a lot of projects to finish and a bunch to even START. Mike would agree with me that patience isn't my strongest attribute :)

thats funny. actually I think Daylan was teasing with the "patience" bit. it hasn't been a year but we are getting close to 6 months on this one project:)
