I have had a few requests recently to post pictures from a contract job I had this last summer at the Delbonita Ranch. It really was an AMAZING experience driving into the fields and walking around with these beasts! Seriously they are loud, big, and very intimidating animals. With my camera as my shield I walked around with about 1500 buffalo! (The Olson Delbonita Ranch has 3000 buffalo) My adrenaline was pumping, (for those of you who know me well know that cows excite me. Well..perhaps I should clarify, when I say "excite" I really mean terrify!) I wanted to step back from the buffalo but found myself getting as close as I could. Though they were big, really big, they didn't try to charge me like I had so dramatically envisioned. Funny how life is rarely as dramatic as I envision it to be. Did I mention that they were big? If I seemed to be getting to close for their comfort they just moved off aways. If I ever do this again, and I really hope I do, I think I would like to ride in on a horse. Now that would be dramatic! -too bad they "excite" me!

Eden, I love your work. Amazing talent.
Wow! That is so amazing...they look almost fake.
i don't think they look fake but this is definitely cool!! the second to last one is my fav.
Nice photos - I love your style. I would never just go out into the field with all those buffalo! I'd be way more scared of them than cows! You are a brave girl.
