Winter Wonderland

I have a small confession to make...this last month when I was in Vancouver I was not completely loyal to Calgary. Actually the second I landed in Vancouver I started day-dreaming about how fabulous my life would be in Vancouver! Everything was so green and fresh and...yes, damp, but so beautiful. I thought of how we could walk on the beach as a family, go to little cafes along the street and live the perfect life. This Day-dream or fantasy was really just that. Even if we lived in "beautiful British Columbia" I'm thinking there is still a slight chance my kids would argue, still a slight chance it would be as equally challenging to take a two year old to a cafe in Vancouver as it would be here in Calgary. lol. Silly silly me. It is definitely beautiful there but look at how magical this forest is. The snow on all the branches, the trees disappearing into a white sky, I enjoyed a dream like afternoon with my kids in Griffith Woods. In fact, I'd say I'm a pretty lucky gal!

Pretty snow! Although I must admit that I like to look at snow from a nice distance better than I like living in it!

I can speak for Jon, we are NOT missing this! haha. but I totally can relate Eden, I am ALWAYS daydreaming about New York and I'm always pre-baby weight and Kennedy can talk and never cries. and I wear fabulous shoes without getting blisters. Daydreams are pretty nice.
