I am off to New York tomorrow!
NEW. YORK.

I tried to be cool about it but honestly it's my first time to New York. And I don't want to miss a thing. If you have been and have some favorite spots please do tell! and did I mention this little escapade is without my two little shadows! Just me and the girls. Oh this is going to be fun. Thank you Daylan, and Hannah and everyone who is helping me out with the kids!!!! mmmuwa.
This image is a favorite from my wedding on the weekend (Amy and Robert's) I will be posting more when I get back.

Oh you are going to have SO MUCH FUN!!! I'm so excited for you! No great tips really, but the Museum of Modern Art was my favorite of all the museums. Also, I read about the city on wikitravel before we left, and it helped me understand how it was all laid out and how the streets worked so we could find our way around. And lots of people told me to bring good shoes and I didn't and ended up buying shoes and gel insoles while we were there because my feet got so sore from all the walking. Have fun!!!! Can't wait to hear all about it and see some cool pics - I bet you will take some seriously awesome photos.
Oh, one other tip - we went to the top of the Empire State building and I thought it was kinda boring. The Balls told us it is way cooler to go to the top of the Rock. I wouldn't do the Empire State Building again, but I guess it's cool to say I've been to the top! :)

There are so many wonderful things to discover in NY...you'll have an incredible time there. If I was going back this weekend I'd be most excited about the food! Even just the classic NY slice is yummy and go to Carmine's in Times Square...oh, and don't forget to try a steak house. Yum.

I can't wait to hear about your adventures!

Hope you have the time of your life in NYC. Even just having the chance to sleep in past 6 am should be a novelty! Love the picture!
