Snip.

"Uhhh- I think it's stuck..." she swallows loudly and smiles so awkwardly I can't help but laugh. My little Aubrie loves to get me ready for imaginary weddings. Its wedding after wedding at our house. Its something we love to do as Ysa is sleeping. Its quiet and the aliases we assume as we play, its just fun. Really one of our favorite games, until yesterday. Yesterday I walked around all day with a comb wound up to the top of my head. hmmm. I probably should have paid more attention to her when she said she was going to curl my hair. Even my Daylan couldn't save me from the fate of the scissors! So- I had no choice but to snip.
Here is my little angel. At the time she was known as "Natasha". Clearly "Natasha" was not impressed with me after I broke the comb trying to get it out of my hair. lol. oh the drama:)

lol. isn't this such a fun age?! is it weird that Aidan and I play "wedding day" on occasion too. Except he is the groom and will get down on one knee to ask me to marry him. I always say yes! lol.

Could you please tell "Natasha" from me that she makes a beautiful bride? So elegant. Sorry about the hair; stickers are very hard to get out also without losing a bit of hair!

lol. I think I need to clarify...I didn't cut all of my hair. I just cut a thick wad of hair that was tangled in the comb...not so cool:)

Wow! Natasha is a task-master! She must have really wanted that hair to be curly. I think Santa should bring one of those big barbie head girls with the long hair for her to practice on so that her mummy's scalp can have a rest. Aren't girls so fun!?

This is hilarious because I can totally see this happening in our house! My girls play "Prince and Princess" all day. They always have to "fall in love" (which means slow dancing) then "get married." Of course Lucy is the always the prince - but, thankfully, she embraces it wholeheartedly. I'm sure this is what Ysa has to look forward to! I love the exasperated Aubrie in the picture on the right. So funny!

Hey Sara, your comment made me smile...

P.S. Aubs really misses your girls!
